Why promote PrEP in Black and Minorities communities?
This project aims to increase knowledge and understanding of PrEP as one of the HIV prevention tool amongst Black African communities within a cultural context. Current statistics have highlighted poor awareness of PrEP within BME communities, which may have impacted the ongoing high HIV infection rate in BME communities in England.Increasing PrEP awareness and knowledge will help to reduce HIV prevalence within BME communities.
